Dr. Cody Wright is a Professor/Extension Specialist-Beef at South Dakota State University. His areas of interest are cow-calf management, alternative feeds, mineral nutrition, and water quality. He received his BS at South Dakota State University, his MS at Kansas State University, and his Ph.D. at North Carolina State University. Dr. Wright’s extension responsibilities are cow-calf nutrition and management, Beef 2020, calf value discovery, and animal welfare and well-being. He belongs to the American Society of Animal Science and American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists.
